Last year Rainbow Lodge embarked on the next phase of sustainability through a new partnership that saw the introduction of exciting new facilities and community projects.
Rainbow Lodge are proud to be working in partnership with Ecosun - a Cambodian company - to implement sustainable energy solutions for Rainbow Lodge and the community. EcoSun is a social enterprise working towards energy/ electricity solutions for people and communities in Cambodia.
Spring 2014 saw the installation of a Biodigester which allows us to convert human waste into power. This was followed by a hydro power plant utilising a stream that runs through Rainbow Lodge. Both of these initiatives supplement our renewable energy portfolio.
We are pleased to announce that Wilderness Expertise, a UK volunteer group and 25 students from AYLP, the American Youth Leadership Program visited us in the Summer of 2014 to assist us with our community objectives.
We've been very fortunate to welcome some wonderful guests over the years to Rainbow Lodge.
