Recycling

We adopt a reduce, reuse and recycle policy throughout Rainbow Lodge. For example:

• 

  Rather a lot of recycling

  All glass, cans and cardboard are recycled. All degradable waste is used for composting including some paper and cardboard.
• We provide a refill system for drinking water to reduce the number of plastic bottles used and transported.
• Use of plastic bags is kept to a minimum and bags are washed and reused.
• Where possible we use bamboo and small amounts of wood from our own land for minor repairs and building.
