Our employees at Rainbow Lodge are all Khmer from Tatai Village or Kompong Speu, the neighbouring province. At present these are:

• The guys: Darut, Piarom, Bro and Won. All work hard at odd jobs, general maintenance and skippering boats - the muscle of our team.
• Saron, Mom, Sro and Thiery - our gaggle of girls in the kitchen - great fun anf great cooks!
• Sopheap and Panna - our laundry ladies and cleaners, behind the scenes but keeping us ticking.

Men at work

All staff are learning English, and lessons are provided, time permitting, in addition to their everyday learning.

All employees, except Panna and Won, live in staff quarters at Rainbow Lodge. Darut and Sopheap are married to each other - they met at Rainbow Lodge. Mom and Bro are also married. Panna and Won (another married couple) comes across from the village each day in their boat. Local villagers are used for occasional work.
